what sparks your sense of adventure?

Over the Independence Day holiday weekend I was lucky enough to tour the Tall Ships in Buffalo NY (even caught a sail on the Appledore IV!).

While I smiled my way through all of them, there was something about the Picton Castle that sparked my sense of adventure.

The idea of running away to sea and sailing with her around the North Atlantic for a year is possible…

… and while sailing on a tall ship and inside sales may not seem to have a connection; the idea of sparking your sense of adventure does apply to both.

Inside Sales doesn’t have to be a grind!

I asked a few inside salespeople what sparked their sense of adventure.

Here are the answers I heard:
> being willing to walk away from a potentially HUGE deal, knowing it wasn’t a good fit.
> searching for the next person to talk with, among all the day’s voicemail.
> pulling up my pirate ship next to the competition and stealing their customer away.
> learning a new technique, trying it out, and mastering it!

This week look for the sparks.
