If you’ve read my stuff for a while, you know I love the idea of habits allowing us to do success behaviors without much thought.
Yet, I’ve noticed something recently
– the vernier of success habits –
One example is asking the right question -> without listening to the prospect/customer answer.
The other is blocking time on your calendar for customer facing activity -> yet allowing yourself to be DISTRACTED.
Perhaps that is why I believe in BURSTfocus® vs. Time Blocks.
Time blocking your calendar merely makes sure you get a reminder *ping* from your calendar app.
BURSTfocus® means you have to:
> BURST – push yourself in sudden intense effort.
> focus – direct your attention on that ONE thing.
Today, decide something is important enough to your success to put emphasis on activity to achieve it. Then make BURSTfocus® a habit.
