How to Kick Sales Reps Out of Their Comfort Zone (inspired by @jillkonrath)

I recently found my notes from a talk Jill Konrath gave right after Agile Selling came out:
> if you want to have agile sales reps who, learn – change – grow; you have to set up a learning culture = so much more than “training”

See-Feel-ChangeI see a learning culture as one where the sales leadership team helps their inside salespeople:
> see the future everyone is working toward.
> feel what it will be like when they arrive.
> make the changes required to get from here to there.

Which leads us to a couple of posts I wrote right after I read Switch: How to Change Things When Change Is Hard

SEE Do your salespeople see their destination postcard?
and CHANGE You want your salespeople to change?

Today take a good look at your organization and decide if you have created a learning culture for your team.
> can everyone describe the goal you’re working to achieve?
> what does goal achievement mean to each person?
> how are they modifying the actions they take each day to make it happen?

and this is just another example of “You are, in fact, a mashup of what you choose to let into your life.” ~ Austin Kleon
