Let your feet get wet!

A while ago I read Seth’s Blog: All boats leak “More often, though, we’re so busy fixing tiny leaks that we get distracted from the real goal, which is to go somewhere.” is the part I can’t get out of my mind.
dreamstimefree_38514 If your boat is sinking, it’s tough to ignore. When you are thinking about launching it and it will not float, it’s tough to ignore. Not only tough but a bad idea. Those things I think all good managers deal with and recognize.

Which brings us to Seth’s quote – how often during a day do you end up dealing with little leaks instead of moving forward?

There you are in the middle of the river, with a sponge and bailing bucket trying to not let your feet get damp. While the current sweeps you further and further away from your goal.

Remember that in your sales success boat, things are never allowing you to be stationary. You are either moving forward toward success or drifting away from it.

Today ignore the little leaks, let your feet get damp – because when you reach your destination you can always change into different shoes.
