Why do I still feel like there are so many stairs left to climb?
Time to go back to the book and trust in Laura to help! *whew* there is a ‘how to use your plan’ part, here we go!
I’ve written down all the initiatives I need to execute to achieve my short term goals… and NOW I’m really stressed out… but wait “It is better, when you are getting stated, to underestimate what you can accomplish than overestimate it.”
Alright, I’ve been given permission to break this down into even more manageable bites, so I’m listing out a logical order (for instance it doesn’t make sense to do SEO until I have key word research done!).
Now I’m only picking maximum of 3 initiatives per focus area per quarter. Which still might be 5 per month but some of them do involve talking to business partners and having the work done by someone else. WOW that didn’t take long (seriously 20 minutes ish) and now I know what I need to do first – having it all written down is letting me not even think about what’s next, just climb up one step then worry about the next one once I’ve caught my breath and kept my balance.
What do you need to do FIRST to move forward with your business? Figure that out and only worry about that until it’s done.
