STOP looking for what’s next!

I’m going to shout it from the roof tops.

STOP looking for what’s next!

As sales leaders and managers I do understand the desire to try out every new thing you find to make your team better. Especially when goals are high and sales aren’t.

Here are two things I know to be true:
1. most people can only work to change one thing at a time.
2. once a change is made, unless it becomes a habit – people default back to the old way.

Agree?

If you do agree, then you need to STOP looking for what’s next! and instead look at what is working and make sure those good sales habits are in place.

Now pick a single change you’d like to make… and work on it until it sticks.

Then and only then look for what’s next.
