For me, strategy is difficult and tactics are easy. How about for you?
I think it is important to understand what we’re good at, that way we can look to outside resources for help with things that AREN’T our strengths.
I’m not saying that I can’t look at things strategically. I do find it much, much easier to have a coach direct my strategic thinking through insightful questioning.
Instead of struggling I use my resources.
Once the strategy is set, for me; the how too is a SNAP! Tactics I can do quickly, easily, effortlessly.
A woman I know Jill Harrington of salesSHIFT is the exact opposite. She loves the entire process of creating strategy.
One isn’t better or worse than the other.
The key is figuring out where your talents lie and leverage them. Plus know people who are talented in the areas you AREN’T and use them where you need assistance.

I’d have to agree with you, Lynn. Devising a strategy is far more complicated than doing the actual means in carrying out a certain objective. Strategy can be a little complex since it involves the whole plan in bringing out a goal. But the good thing about these two is that they go along with each other, and not against each other.
I came across this quote from this Chinese military strategies Sun Tzu, and he wrote: “Strategy without tactics is the slowest route to victory. Tactics without strategy is the noise before defeat.”
