Will you recognize your Ideal Customer?

If you haven’t created an ideal customer profile for yourself, here are my three tips to keep in mind as you’re defining it for yourself!

#1 – it is only partially about your company’s ideal customer – the other part is about who YOU the salesperson work best with.

#2 – don’t forget to include $$$; what revenue or profit margin do they need to generate for you?

#3 – these are the people and companies who will make you the most money with the least amount of effort!

Have you answered: do they buy what we sell? do they need what we do? do they have money to spend?

Side note, I was onsite doing training for a client last week and have to admit it was an ‘oh my’ surprise as I was going through my desk calendar. It isn’t that I didn’t know about the quote… more that I had completely forgotten it would magically appear last Wednesday.
