Most American companies are coming back from a 4 day holiday weekend for Thanksgiving. Today’s suggestion is for you to tell your team what you’re thankful for!
- Look back over the past year and share what business objectives they’ve met as a team.
- Give every single person a shout out for something they’ve accomplished on their personal goal list.
- For the behaviors your organization measures – give kudos to the person at the top.
- Share one thing that you enjoy about working with each person on the team.
Some will be easier to think of than others – push yourself and come up with a gratitude list for each person on your team.
If you want to get crazy – expand the exercise to include: people on your leadership team, your boss, people in other departments you work with on a regular basis. Sharing something specific with each person will bring a smile to their face!
