I absolutely l-o-v-e making cold calls the day before a long weekend! SERIOUSLY! No I’m not kidding.
People are either:
- not there… and I find who backs them up (more contacts)
- there & willing to talk… as long as I commiserate at not having an EXTRA long weekend with them
- trying to finish stuff up & don’t want to talk… but will give me a snapshot of what they’re doing
Plus most of my competition is slacking off so the call volume in is WAY lower than any other time.
So I’ll be cold calling from 9:30 – 10:30 and again from 2:00 – 3:00 if you’d like to join me!

CONGRATULATIONS on the new gig! ‘all cold calls all the time’ is the name of that game – don’t become frustrated, keep your energy up and remember to bring value immediately.
